We are developing a fabulously fun Holiday Extravaganza program which will run from mid December to early January.
Our program is completely free and gets bigger and better every year! The program is broken down into four, themed weeks that allow our little learners to take part in a whole range of additional activities. Just like a series of masterclasses, these daily activities will be based on a weekly theme. Our themes will include Little Scientists, Little Master Chefs, Little Earth Warriors and Little Big People. We decorate the rooms, host a barrage of fun activities and even dress up to match each week’s theme! The kids (and educators) love Holiday Extravaganza time!
Week 1: Little Earth Warriors – Our Little Earth Warriors will learn all about the environment and sustainability. We’ll recycle things, fix things, upcycle and more!
Week 2: Little Big People – We will explore a whole range of “Grown Up” occupations, as we experience role playing and set our sights on what we might be when we grow up.
Week 3: Little Scientists – Early education is buzzing about STEM – Learning based on practical experience in all things Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths. We want to aid in the children’s skills to problem solve, research, explore and evaluate reaction and understand the meaning of cause and effect and of course have lots of fun.
Week 4: Little Master Chefs – Honing our skills in the kitchen, our Little Master Chefs will whip up some tasty treats while practicing literacy, maths and science skills in our final week of our Little Learning School Holiday Extravaganza
Below is a video from last year’s program. This year we’re planning to top that again!
